The itinerary described is the snowshoeing on Monte Venturosa, quite challenging but very satisfying. Ideal for those looking for wild and little-visited environments. From the top, we will dominate all of the Brembana valley.
It is possible to reach the summit also in the summer, without snowshoes. We have described the itinerary in this blog post:
We reach the town of Foppetta, in Camerata Cornello (BG), by car and park near the parking lot with the sign indicating Passo di Grialeggio.
We follow this indication, CAI 136 trail marker, which leads us to follow a dirt road. After a few ups and downs, we enter a beautiful beech forest. We follow this path until we reach Passo di Grialeggio, where there is the fork for Monte Cancervo and Venturosa. We follow the indications for the second. Soon we reach a large cabin surrounded by a clearing, from which we can already see our final destination.
We then follow the last stretch of trail to the summit. From here we can enjoy a magnificent panorama of the Brembana Valley, Monte Cancervo, the Artavaggio plateau, Resegone and Grigne.
The return is on the same route as the outward journey.

This hike requires a fair level of fitness and the ability to evaluate the snow cover, for the possibility of avalanches or the presence of ice crusts!
