On the Roof of Valle Imagna! Discover the itinerary with us for the excursion to the Three Beeches of Fuipiano..

The location of Tre Faggi in Fuipiano, in Valle Imagna, takes its name from three historic and imposing centuries-old beech trees that dominate the valley. Nearby, there is also a small chapel dedicated to the Madonna, surrounded by partially destroyed boundary stones that evoke Celtic and prehistoric dolmens, adding a touch of magic to the environment.

We reach the village of Fuipiano by car, the highest village in Valle Imagna. We continue by car along Via Milano until we reach the aqueduct, where we can park. From here, our walking itinerary begins.

Following the signs that indicate our destination, we set off into a vast beech forest. At the first fork, we turn right, and shortly after, at a second fork, we turn left (both indicated by signs), until we exit the forest and enter a broad pasture with huts and Alpine farms. The panorama opens up, offering pleasant views of the valley. We continue to the highest huts, and once reached, we follow the path to the right, which becomes more level and quickly leads us to our destination. In addition to the aforementioned three beech trees and the chapel with the dolmens, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Resegone and Valle Imagna.

The return is then on the same route as the outbound trip.

The excursion doesn’t present any particular difficulties and is suitable for all, both adults and children accustomed to walking.
