The experience
The Orobie Alps and Prealps are a branch of the Central Alps that extends for about 70 km, from Lake Como to the Aprica pass. The Bergamo side, to the south, degrades slowly and gradually to the hills of the city of Bergamo and the plain.
The peaks exceed 3000m, and a complex hydrographic network of streams and tributaries feeds the two main rivers, the Brembo and the Serio, which give their name to the homonymous main valleys.
Thanks to this geographical conformation, human settlements and nature have merged over the centuries, and local culture and environment have molded each other. The Orobie offers wide and varied itineraries and views, suitable for families and hikers of all ages, and allow you to immerse yourself in a splendid natural setting and rediscover the mountain and alpine culture.
How the activity is carried out
Depending on the climatic conditions and the season, we will propose itineraries that will lead you to discover the Orobie, in contact with unspoiled nature and to learn about the local culture and the territory. The positive difference in height will never be excessive and the excursions will be within the reach of anyone with a minimum of training.
A mountain leader will accompany you throughout the excursion. In addition to ensuring the safe conduct of the activity, he will put at your disposal all his deep knowledge of the territory, both from a naturalistic and historical point of view.

The tour will take place also in case of bad weather, with the proviso that the guide reserves the right to decide whether the conditions exist for the trip to be safely and fully run.
In case the tour is suspended due to adverse weather conditions, you can recover it on a date to be agreed or you will be fully refunded.
