From its altitude of around 1890 meters, you can enjoy a splendid panorama of Cimon della Bagozza and the Small Dolomites of Scalve, the Conca dei Campelli, and Val Camonica. In winter, an easy and safe snowshoeing route allows you to reach it.

Snowshoeing at Passo dei Campelli – BergamoXP

After reaching the village of Schilpario, we continue to the locality of Fondi, where we park. From here, we leave the Vivione road and follow the signs for Passo dei Campelli, along a track. In about another hour, first through the woods and then across open spaces, we will reach Malga Bassa Campelli and then Malga Alta Campelli. With a final effort of about 20 minutes, we will cover the last stretch to reach Passo dei Campelli. The panorama here rewards us for all the effort, ranging from Monte Cimon della Bagozza to the Small Dolomites of Scalve, Conca dei Campelli, Adamello, and Val Camonica.

The return is then on the same route as the outbound trip.

Snowshoeing at Passo dei Campelli – BergamoXP

Snowshoeing at Passo dei Campelli – BergamoXP

The excursion doesn’t present any particular difficulties and is suitable for everyone, with a minimum level of fitness.

You can find the interactive map of the route, complete with elevation profile and downloadable GPS track, at this link.

Always organize your trips with care, choose appropriate equipment, and verify the itinerary before embarking on it.

BergamoXP

BergamoXP organizes snowshoe hikes throughout the winter season in our beautiful Val Brembana.
