Monte Bronzone is a modest but panoramic peak in the Bergamo Prealps, and from its summit you can enjoy a wide panorama, with spectacular views of Iseo lake and Monte Isola (for our kayak excursions on Iseo lake, check out this page<\/a>). Due to its low altitude, this itinerary is suitable to be traveled at the beginning of the season or in autumn. <\/p>\n\n

In this article we describe the ascent starting from Vigolo, Bratta, leaving the car near a square, before the fork to a restaurant. From here we follow the almost flat asphalt road until we reach a square with signs, where at the fork we take a left towards the Dedine pass. Once we reach the pass, we follow the signs and the CAI 727 trail. We reach the saddle of Gombo Alto, where there is a refuge, open by reservation. <\/p>\n\n

From here, we take the CAI 701 trail that soon, climbing the ridge, takes us first on the wide grassy crest and finally to the summit of Monte Bronzone, where we will enjoy a magnificent view of Iseo lake and the Orobie mountains. A particularity, on the summit there is a bell dedicated to Pope Giovanni XXIII. <\/p>\n\n

The return is on the same path as the outward journey. <\/p>\n\n

This route does not present particular difficulties and can be traveled by anyone, with a minimum of training. <\/p>\n\n
